Case Study
Objective
To create AI Based Chrome extension at Techstars Startup Weekend Warsaw.
Process
1. Ideation and Initial Research
The weekend kicked off with intense brainstorming sessions and initial research. We explored various ideas, ultimately focusing on a solution to support people with dyslexia. Despite the tight timeframe, we remained agile, pivoting our concept multiple times to ensure it was both feasible and impactful.
Stage 2. Concept Development and Prototyping
We developed our concept further by creating detailed user personas and scenarios to understand the specific needs of people with dyslexia. This guided the design of our prototype, ensuring a user-centered approach. The prototype aimed to assist with reading.

Stage 3. Final Presentation and Recognition
We compiled our findings, development process, and final prototype into a pitch deck. This was presented to a panel of judges and fellow participants at the Techstars Startup Weekend Warsaw. Our hard work and innovation were recognized, and Team Eureka! secured the second place in the competition.

Stage 4. Additional Work and Launching the Chrome Extension
Winning second place was just the beginning. We continued to refine our prototype, incorporating additional feedback and improvements. This dedication led to the successful launch of our Chrome extension, now available on the Chrome Web Store. This extension provides visually modified text that adheres to dyslexia-friendly guidelines, promoting better reading experiences.
Outcome
As the UX/UI designer, I spent countless hours refining the design to ensure it met our users' needs. Working through the night was challenging, but the satisfaction of delivering a polished product made it all worth it.
The 54-hour journey was incredibly tiring yet immensely rewarding. The sense of camaraderie within our team was palpable; we pushed each other, learned from each other, and achieved something truly special together. Culminating in our team winning second place and eventually launching our Chrome extension on the Web Store.
